Thanks for the article on popups – I didn't realize that Google was starting to penalize websites that have obnoxious popups (which seems to be very common these days). It drives me nuts when a popup shows up as soon as I land on a page so that I can't read the content. Why has this become so commonplace?

Now that Wix has the Lightbox Popup feature, I may start using it but will follow Google's guidelines on popups from Google so that my site doesn't get penalized.
