SEO Hero – Ranking #1 on Google!

Wow, I just checked on this website's ranking for "SEO Hero," and it has moved into both the #1 and #2 slots in Google search results. This means it has beat every other website who competed for Wix's SEO Hero Contest to win their $50,000 prize. While the contest is over, I still like to see how this Wix-built website compares to the competitors.

With 2,400 searches a month, SEO Hero is still a competitive term on Google, with advertisers spending as much as $8.40 per click via Google AdWords. In fact, Google has indexed 5,380,000 results for the search term, "SEO Hero" – that's a LOT of pages!

Why does this site do so well? Because I've optimized it for the keywords, AND, I've actually built a highly useful site. This site wasn't just built to win the contest, I've also compiled all of my best tips, tools and resources for learning how to get to the top of google for keywords desired. SEO is all about providing good content for searchers.

It's exciting to see that the Wix platform can compete with all other platforms with SEO, so I'd disagree with anyone who tells you that Wix is not good for SEO – it is quite good if used right. Afterall, good SEO is not about the website platform, it's about how you use it. Are you providing in-depth useful content for users, answering common searched phrases? Are you optimizing your pages and images to be found for those searched terms? That's the ticket!

So yes, Wix IS good at SEO!
